CF Walk

On May 31st we participated in the Cystic Fibrosis Walk with the organization Great Strides. We walked with Team Jonah. Below (left) is Jonah, age 3. He has CF. In the picture on the right, along with Jonah, is his twin brother Javan and their awesome mom Marikka. Thanks for all the pledges in our name. We raised $425, and Team Jonah raised over $33,000! Here we are all set to start the walk. It was a 5k (3.1 miles) at a beautiful park in Placentia.

Here's the boys with Geoff. It was their very first time ON the grass. (because mommy is a nut)
Gene is on the left in the green pants and Cruz is on the right in the blue pants.


They weren't too sure what this strange green stuff was. I am pretty sure a few pieces found their way into their mouths.



After the walk we had a picnic lunch provided by Great Strides. It was great to sit on the grass and enjoy the nice weather.
Gene says, "It is about time we get to eat and play!"

Cruz says, "Oh, my goodness who has the the car keys!"
