Off to the races!

YES! The races!!! We were invited to celebrate Wally's birthday with the family at the race track, and we went! Hooray! It was an outing with the boys and an adventurous one at that!!! It was a BEAUTIFUL, warm evening. There was plenty of space to spread out, see the horses, and visit with family. There were so many new things for the boys to see (and for me - it was my first time). We had a great time and would have stayed longer if it weren't for this strange swarm of bugs that seemed to attack us after the third race.


We just arrived and were looking for a good place to park the stroller and hang out with the boys. Gene is getting some kisses from Auntie Nicole, and Cruz is checking out the scenery. They were both a little timid at first, but then did just fine.

Here is Nicole with Cruz, me with Gene, and their cousin Kenny. Cruz and Gene are both thinking, "Hmmm, that looks like some seriously good hair to pull!!!"
